I recently enjoyed a wonderful family vacation at Pension Bergblick, a place that truly caters to families. Arriving at around 23:15 after a long journey, the staff welcomed us with open arms despite our late arrival. They spoke some English, which made settling in easier, especially for my children. The hotel had a charming family atmosphere, with spaces for kids to play outside, nearby parks, and plenty of shops within walking distance. We enjoyed our breakfasts — the kids loved helping themselves to a range of options, from hot croissants to yogurt and fresh fruit each morning. One evening, we stayed in for dinner, where the chef went out of his way to recommend dishes that weren't on the menu, satisfying even the pickiest eaters in our group. The stunning mountain views from our balcony were a nice bonus, perfectly complementing our hiking adventures around Bad Goisern and nearby Hallstatt.
